CLIFTON L. COOKE, JR.

President and Chief Executive Officer

Clifton L. Cooke, Jr. served as Executive Vice President of Kratos Defense and Security Solutions. Prior to its merger with Kratos, Cliff was President and CEO of SYS Technologies, an $80M provider of information connectivity solutions that capture, analyze and present real-time information to the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Homeland Security, other government agencies and large industrial companies. Cliff also served on the Board of Directors of SYS. Previously, Cliff was founder and CEO of VisiCom Laboratories, which provided embedded real-time products and services to industry and government customers. VisiCom grew to over $50 million in revenue before being acquired by Titan Corporation, where Cliff subsequently served as Executive Vice President. Prior to starting VisiCom in 1988, Cliff was founder and CEO of Advanced Digital Systems (ADS), which provided engineering services for DoD satellite programs. Cliff received his bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics and Information Science from the University of California, San Diego.

FRANCIS S. AURICCHIO, JR.

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Francis S. Auricchio, Jr. has over 24 years of solid-state power amplifier (SSPA) experience in the satellite industry. As a senior scientist at Boeing Satellite Systems, formerly Hughes Space and Communications Company, he was responsible for the design, development, and production of solid-state power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers through millimeter wave frequencies. Fran held several management positions at Boeing, and was responsible for the solid-state power amplifier product line, the management of major external development subcontracts, and internal research and development activities. He has been the primary investigator in the evaluation of new devices and technologies for use in the development of microwave and millimeter wave amplifiers. Fran received a master’s degree in business administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.

MICHAEL MOLLIN

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Michael Mollin served as Vice President of Operations, Public Safety, Security and Industrial Systems Group at SYS Technologies since 2006. Prior to that, Mike was the President and Chief Operating Officer of L-3 Advanced Products and Design, a division of L-3 Communications Titan Group, from 1998 to 2006. Mike brings over 25 years of experience in providing services and solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from San Diego State University.

MICHAEL P. DELISIO, PH.D.

Chief Technical Officer and Founder

Michael DeLisio, Chief Technical Officer and Founder of Wavestream, is an internationally recognized expert on spatial power combining. He demonstrated the first watt-level output from a grid amplifier, and is an originator of the modeling technique used in the design of Grid Amplifiers. Mike is active in the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and has published more than 50 papers in industry-respected journals and conferences. Mike earned a Ph.D. degree from Caltech, and taught engineering at the University of Hawaii before founding Wavestream.

CHAD DECKMAN, PH.D.

VP Research & Development and Founder

As Vice President Engineering and Founder of Wavestream, Chad Deckman brought the company’s core technology to the point at which commercialization was viable. Chad’s 38 GHz, 5-watt single chip Grid Amplifier still holds the record for the highest output power from a single chip at that frequency. Prior to co-founding Wavestream, Chad was a development engineer at Agilent. He earned his Ph.D. degree from Caltech.

TERRY MAGEE

Executive Vice President

Terry Magee has over 40 years of experience in positions of leadership and management in the defense industry. At Wavestream, Terry has responsibility for business development, sales, marketing and product management.Terry’s distinguished career is marked by 27 years of service in the U.S. Navy as a Naval aviator with extensive operational experience and tours on staffs and in the Pentagon. His four command tours included command of two Aviation Squadrons on the Duluth and the Kitty Hawk. Mr. Magee subsequently served as president of Orincon, overseeing significant sales and market growth until the company’s acquisition by Lockheed Martin. He subsequently served in senior operational and strategic positions with Lockheed Martin, including the development and execution of capture plans for numerous large programs and C4ISR/IT Maritime Strategies and campaigns. Mr. Magee holds an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a BA in Biology from SUNY Brockport. He is active in several professional organizations, including AFCEA, San Diego Military Advisory Council and Tailhook, and community organizations, including Operation Homefront, United Through Reading, Palomar College Foundation and Achievement Rewards for College Students.

KLAUS BEECKER

Vice President, International Operations

Klaus Beecker was Vice President of Business Development of CPI’s Satcom and CPI’s Communications & Medical Products Divisions. During his 40 year tenure at CPI and its predecessor Varian Associates, Klaus focused on developing new businesses and new RF and power supply technologies for global satellite and terrestrial communications, medical and semiconductor applications. He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering Physics at the University of Toronto and completed an Executive MBA program at Western University in London, Ontario. For 11 years, Klaus also taught Mathematics and Physics as a hobby in adult education evening classes at Sheridan College of Applied Arts and Technology.
